Freddie Cushion in Wool Tweed

Handcrafted in England from a robust 100% wool tweed that is made in small batches in Yorkshire, Freddie respects the tradition of this well-known British craft. The wool is at first carded by hand to help align the fibres and remove any impurities prior to spinning. The process respects the irregularities in the fibre meaning these are carried over into the final finished fabric, giving the cloth a rugged yet tactile structure. Like all true tweeds, dyeing of the wool takes place before spinning creating natural ebbs and flows of colour in the texture of the tweed. Once spinning and weaving are complete, the fabric is 'fulled', a process that slightly shrinks the cloth, improving its texture and stability.

Freddie comes in either a Cobalt Blue or Caramel tweed and is finished in either cream Lancashire Linen piping, chocolate velvet piping or, for even greater contrast, a 'reverse piping' with caramel tweed for the cobalt blue version, or cobalt blue tweed piping on the caramel version. 

Complete with a 100% heavy weight duck feather cushion pad, also handmade in England, Freddie's concealed YKK zip enclosure also allows for the cover to be removed for easy cleaning.
